Rosanne was born in Scotland in the village of Gartocharn at the southern end of Loch Lomond, now part of Scotland's First National Park.
She experienced the natural beauty from an early age and found inspiration in the far north at Balnakiel in Sutherland, Plockton near Skye, and Aultbea, Ross and Cromarty. |
She entered Duncan of Jordonstone College of Art, graduating with First Class Honours in 2003. She exhibited in London at New Designers 2003 and at the Mall Galleries in 2004, she was one of two young Scots featured by the Designer Craftsmen and awarded the Licentiate of Distinction by the viewing panel.
Lands of Escape Exhibition
Last summer, Rosanne trekked 6000 miles across the USA, from the Great Lakes to the Mississippi, through the deserts of Utah to the Western Seaboard. This adventure has brought her towards the well worn path of landscape painting...but over new territory, known only to the minds eye.
