Russian-born, Sofia studied at Saint Petersbough State University gaining an Honours Degree in Art and Clothes Design in 1996. Since coming to Scotland in 1996, Sofia has worked as an artist/designer and private art tutor. Her trademark of her name in Russian letters is always easily recognisable and since late 2002 she has really been concentrating on her career as an artist becoming a member of the Glasgow Society of Women Artists |
| The Helensburgh Art Club also gave her a forum to exhibit. Since then Sofia has had numerous successful shows and her wonderful work with flowers has made her a sought-after artist. | |
